Session fee (55 minutes): $200
While not accessible for all, benefits of self-pay include greater privacy (no sharing of information with insurance), greater flexibility (able to pro-rate for a longer session or short in-between session check-in), and no requirement of a diagnosis (insurance companies require submitting a diagnosis to reimburse).

In-network provider with Aetna.

Courtesy billing is available for Horizon and BCBS clients whose insurance includes out-of-network (OON) benefits.
This means you pay the session fee upfront and I submit claims to your insurance company directly on your behalf. The insurance company then reimburses you based on your OON benefits.
Note that insurance may reimburse at a lower amount than the session fee, which can mean a higher cost than an in-network therapist, but lower than self-pay.
Example: You pay $200 for the session. Your OON benefits say you owe 10% of session fees and reimburse at $140 for a session, meaning you would owe $14 plus $60 (the difference between the session fee and your insurance’s reimbursement rate). You are then reimbursed $126 by your insurance for each session.
Individual therapy & couples therapy

Note: While client preference is a priority, clients may be asked to meet in person if clinically indicated. In-person session availability is limited.
